RepRapDiscount has brought you the RUMBA Basic Board. RUMBA stands for R - Reprap U - Universal M - Mega B - Board with A - Allegro drive. It is a full integrated all-in-one solution. This basic board is far from basic. The RUMBA is Arduino 2560-R3 compatible, working with Sprinter, Repetier, Marlin out of the box, but it is still easy to swap the firmware. It boasts the ATmega16U2 (=with enhanced firmware for a high speed USB serial connection -- up to 2MBit! Connect up to 6 motor drivers with the easy micro stepping setup. Imagine TRIPLE extruders, DUAL Z driver and DUAL extruders and more! With universal power, the RUMBA board can use 12V-35V to power the motors and the heated bed. It also has integrated high precision power regulators for 12V and 5V components like fans, lights, etc. Easily add an LCD to your board with the Smart Controller and SD card adapter.
