Key Features:
- Unique combination of ceramic powder and polymer
- Fire your 3D projects into hard pottery
- Some special requirements to print from your 3D Printer
Latest creation from German inventor, Kai Parthy, LayCeramic is a specialty clay-filled filament intended for kiln firing into hard pottery. LayCeramic is currently an experimental material that requires certain specifications for your printer. A full metal hotend from PRUSA or E3D is required. Quick and effective warming and good cooling fans are necessary. Once printed, the object will need to be heat treated in a kiln. This material will experience some shrinking when the polymer is debind from the clay during the kiln firing.
