The Artec Point II is a handheld, target-based 3D laser scanner engineered for ISO-certified accuracy of up to 0.02 mm (0.0008 in). Built for quality control, reverse engineering, and inspection, it captures complex, black, and reflective surfaces that defeat ordinary scanners, and its blue Class II lasers are fully eye-safe.
Point II is the successor to the Artec Point, upgraded where it counts: a new laser projection system captures up to 5.8 million measurements per second, more than double its predecessor, with 54 laser lines in ultra-fast mode and 17 parallel lines in hyper-fine mode. Everything customers relied on in the original, including its certified accuracy, three scanning modes, handling, and Artec Studio workflow, carries over unchanged.

Deep hole mode: a single blue laser line reaches into narrow grooves and holes that crossed-laser patterns can't resolve.
